Troubleshooting

Check this first: an empty page is often correct. Adzen does not fill a slot with a poor match, and it refuses content that should not be monetized at all. No ad on a given page is frequently the system working, not failing. Work through the list below before treating it as a fault.

Tag installed, no ads rendering

  1. Domain registered? It must exist in the Adzen system.
  2. Placement enabled? Placement must be turned on for the domain — your Adzen account manager can confirm.
  3. Both active? The domain and the publisher profile must be “active”.
  4. Path excluded? The URL may match an exclusion pattern — see Domain configuration.
  5. Advertiser budgets? Campaigns may have exhausted their budget.
  6. Any match at all? There may be no eligible ad for this content.

Clicks not tracked

  1. Traffic validation — the click may be flagged invalid as a bot or duplicate.
  2. Still missing? Send your Adzen contact the page URL and roughly when the click happened.

Match quality is poor

Match quality depends mostly on the advertiser demand available for your content. The part you control is content quality: longer, well-structured articles produce better anchor text matches.

Still stuck

Check the delivery endpoints for what the tag is actually sending and receiving.
