API keys

Keys are issued and rotated by Adzen. There is no self-service key endpoint.

How to get a key

Keys are issued by Adzen, not minted on demand:

1. Contact your Adzen account representative, or contact Adzen , to be onboarded.
2. You are issued a key scoped to a single product — UGC, AI, or Ad Manager. A key for one product is rejected on the others.
3. Send it on every request as X-API-Key.

An invalid or wrong-product key fails with 401.

How to rotate a key

Ask your Adzen account representative. Rotation is performed by Adzen and coordinated with you so the old key can be retired only once the new one is deployed on your side.

Plan for this in your own configuration: read the key from an environment variable or secrets manager so it can be swapped without a code change or redeploy. Do not hard-code it, and never commit it to source control.
